Pic(k) of the week 44: Dhow captain
Another great place for environmental portraits beside the Dubai Fish-market, is the Dhow Wharfage. At the North side of the Creek in Dubai, one finds dozens of wooden trading boats, Dhows, used to transport all kinds of goods to Iran, Pakistan and India. It really is like going back in time and is a must see for every visitor to Dubai!
While strolling around the area, I photographed this Iranian Dhow captain, descending from his vessel.
