MONOCHROME MOMENTS
Below is a short extract of some of the text in the book:
For over a decade, I’ve walked the streets with a camera in hand, often not drawn by colour but by contrast, texture, and the timeless pull of Monochrome photography.
Black and white photography strips away distractions, leaving only the raw essence of a moment—light, shadow, form, gesture and emotion. In a world saturated with colour and instant imagery, monochrome feels honest, deliberate, and quietly powerful. This collection is not just a series of images — it’s a decade of observing life unfold in unscripted fragments organized as a life-story. It’s about fleeting moments, solitary figures, chaotic crowds, and empty spaces filled with invisible stories.
Working in black and white has taught me to see differently: notice the geometry of a city, the poetry of movement, and the silent conversations happening around us. These candid photographs are not about perfection but all about presence. About quietly being there in the moment, when life offered something beautiful, strange, or profoundly ordinary and capturing it before it all disappeared again.
